Creating an affiliate program allows you to get more sales by letting others promote your business. Push Lap Growth makes it simple to track sales, pay commissions, and manage affiliates. In this guide, we’ll walk you through setting up your first program step by step.

Step 1: Start a New Affiliate Program

  1. Log in to your Push Lap Growth account.

  2. Click on Create New Affiliate Program in your dashboard.

  3. Enter a name for your program (e.g., “Your Business Affiliate Program”).

  4. Choose a subdomain where affiliates will sign up (e.g., your-business.pushlapgrowth.com).

  5. Enter your business website URL to link to your main store or service page.

Step 2: Set Up Your Commission Plan

Your commission plan determines how affiliates get paid. For now, you can focus on only the base commission plan. Here are your options:

  • Commission Trigger - Weather affiliates make a commission when a customer signs up or when they make a purchase.

  • Choose Products - You can choose which products the commission applies to, if you choose none, commission will apply to all products (this feature is only available for our Stripe, Shopify, Paddle and Chargebee integration at the moment)

  • Flat Rate – Affiliates earn a fixed amount per sale (e.g., $10 per purchase).

  • Percentage-Based – Affiliates earn a percentage of the total sale (e.g., 15%).

  • Recurring Commissions – Affiliates earn commissions on repeat purchases, great for subscriptions.

    • Give Commission For How Many Payments - Number of payments to give a commission to the affiliate for, based on the referral. So, for example, if this is set as 2, affiliate will only be paid commission on the first two payments the referral makes, that’s if those two payments come before the time limit set in Give Commission For How Many Months

    • Give Commission For How Many Months - Number of months to give a commission to the affiliate for, based on the referral. It’s which ever comes first. For example, if we have For How Many Payments set as 2 and For How Many Months set as 1 it would mean that we will give the affiliate who refers a customer the commission for a maximum of 2 different payments the customer make as long as those payments were within the first month of the customer signing up

  • Tiered Commissions – Offer higher commissions to top-performing affiliates using tiers.

Choose the commission settings that works best for your business and enter the commission amount.

Your affiliate portal is where affiliates sign up and track their earnings. Make it match your brand by:

  • Uploading Your Logo – Helps affiliates recognize your program.

  • Choosing Your Brand Colors – Makes the portal look professional and consistent.

  • Adding a chat widget - Best for helping affiliates get in touch with you

  • Adding Terms & Conditions – Set clear rules for affiliates.

Affiliates will see your portal when they log in, so it’s important to make it look appealing.

Step 4: Invite Affiliates

Once your program is set up, invite people to join!

  • Send Email Invites – Add email addresses and send invitations directly.

  • Share Your Signup Link – Post your affiliate portal link on your website or social media.

  • Use the Marketplace – List your program in the Push Lap Growth marketplace so affiliates can find you.

Affiliates can sign up using their email, get a unique referral link, and start promoting your business right away.
